For additional information on purchasing Ohio hunting licenses, visit http://www.ohiodnr.com/wildlife/dow/regulations/vendor.aspx.
Note: Ohio will have a new licensing and game check system in place for the 2011-2012 fishing and hunting seasons. Anglers and hunters will still have two ways to purchase licenses and permits, online at www.wildohio.com or at authorized license sales outlets. One and three-day fishing licenses can also be purchased over the phone.
No longer will hunters be required to take their deer or turkey to a check station for physical inspection. Hunters will have three options to complete the automated game check: On the Internet at www.wildohio.com, by telephone at 1-877-TAG-ITOH (824-4864) (This option is only available to those who are required to purchase deer or turkey permits to hunt), and at all license outlets.
For complete information about the 2011 system, go to www.wildohio.com and click on the link "Upcoming 2011 License Sales and Game Check System" under the Ohio Wildlife News heading.
